Volha Volkava (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the AR Draw and Trace – ARTrace mobile application (“the App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Device Identifier

We generate a unique, random device identifier to provide personalized features such as favorites, generation history, and preferences. This identifier is not linked to your Apple ID or any personal information.

1.2 Usage Data

We collect anonymous usage data to improve the App, including:

• Product interaction events (e.g., which features are used)
• Purchase history (for restoring subscription status)
• Crash data and performance diagnostics

1.3 Camera Data

The App accesses your device’s camera to provide the augmented reality tracing feature. Camera data is processed entirely on your device in real-time. We do not capture, store, transmit, or share any camera images or video.

1.4 User-Provided Content

When you use the photo-to-sketch conversion or AI image generation features, the content you provide (photos or text prompts) is sent to our servers for processing. Photos submitted for conversion are processed and not stored permanently. Text prompts may be logged for service improvement and abuse prevention.

1.5 Onboarding Survey

During initial setup, you may optionally answer survey questions about your drawing experience and interests. These responses are associated with your device identifier and used to personalize your experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

• App Functionality: To provide core features including favorites, generation history, and personalized content.
• Product Personalization: To tailor the image library and recommendations to your interests.
• Analytics: To understand how the App is used, identify issues, and improve the user experience.
• Advertising: To display relevant advertisements through third-party ad networks.

3. Third-Party Services

3.1 Google AdMob

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization and measurement. For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy.

3.2 Firebase Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics and crash reports. Firebase may process data in accordance with Firebase’s Privacy and Security documentation.

3.3 Adapty

We use Adapty for subscription management. Adapty processes purchase-related data in accordance with their privacy policy.

3.4 AI Service Providers

AI image generation and photo conversion features use third-party AI services. Text prompts and uploaded images are sent to these providers for processing. We do not control how these providers handle data beyond our contractual agreements with them.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the third-party service providers listed above, and only as necessary to provide the App’s features.

5. Data Retention

Device identifiers and associated data (favorites, preferences, generation history) are retained as long as you use the App. If you delete the App, your local data is removed. Server-side data associated with your device identifier may be retained for up to 12 months after last activity, after which it is automatically deleted.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption for all data transmission and HMAC-SHA256 request signing to prevent unauthorized API access.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). The App does not require account creation or collection of personal information such as name, email, or address.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at support@volhaapps.com and we will take steps to delete such information.

8. Your Rights

8.1 GDPR (European Economic Area)

If you are in the EEA, you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about your device identifier
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent for ad personalization

8.2 CCPA (California)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what data we collect and how it is used
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell data)
• Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

9. Ad Personalization

You can control ad personalization through your device settings. On iOS, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking to manage app tracking permissions. The App also respects the App Tracking Transparency framework and will request your consent before tracking.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated policies will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
