Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using AR Draw and Trace – ARTrace (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

ARTrace is an augmented reality drawing application that allows users to project images onto real paper through their device’s camera for tracing purposes. The App provides access to an image library, photo-to-sketch conversion, AI image generation, and AR-guided drawing tools.

3. Eligibility

The App is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. Users under the age of 18 should have parental or guardian consent before using the App. By using the App, you represent that you have such consent if applicable.

4. User Account

The App identifies users by a unique device identifier. No account creation, email, or password is required. Your device identifier is used solely to provide personalized features such as favorites and generation history.

5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

ARTrace offers optional premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions managed by Apple through the App Store. By purchasing a subscription:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Subscription tiers and pricing are displayed within the App. Prices may vary by region and are determined by Apple’s pricing tiers.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes.
• Not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Not use the App to create offensive, illegal, or harmful content.
• Respect intellectual property rights when uploading photos for conversion or tracing.

7. Intellectual Property

App content: All images in the App’s built-in library, the App’s design, code, and branding are the intellectual property of Volha Volkava and are protected by copyright law.

User-created content: Drawings you create using the App belong to you. You retain all rights to your physical artwork.

AI-generated content: Images generated using the App’s AI features are provided for personal use. Usage rights for AI-generated images may be subject to the terms of the underlying AI model provider.

8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The App uses third-party AI services to generate images from text prompts and to convert photos into sketch outlines. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of AI-generated content. AI-generated images are provided “as is” for tracing purposes.

9. Camera Usage

The App requires camera access to provide the AR tracing feature. Camera data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted, stored, or shared. You can revoke camera access at any time through your device settings.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Volha Volkava shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the App.

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of the developer’s residence, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
